Fish Scales is a show about Mermaids.
Lets see, the beginning....
It all started when 2 girls go to the beach for a week. They find an old bottle with a little note inside. When they read the note, it talks about mermaids. But the note is acutely a spell. When Cece goes to the pool at midnight, during a solar eclipse, something happens. Rickey gets a random text telling her to go to Cece. A week later, when the girls are back from the beach, they go on with their lives like nothing has happened. When Cece and Rickey spill water on them selves, they grow tails. And later on get 2 powers.
